Silver Japanese High Relief Overlay Repousse 1920’s Fountain Pen
Rare Japanese Silver overlay from 1920’s is offered here. This extraordinarily rare early Japanese pen is on par with some of the rarer Parker and Waterman eyedropper pens from early 1920’s. This museum piece features beautiful high relief flowers and gorgeous art nouveau leaves. It features an original 1920’s solid gold nib and is marked silver on the cap, it is at least 950 and not 925 sterling silver. The pen is in near mint condition, but has small doing on top of cap. The cap posts perfectly onto the barrel at either end, it is not loose. The beautiful indicia is clear of any personalization. This is an eyedropper with ink shit off valve release. It also features a hand carved seal on the end bearing the original owners sign. Beautiful Art Nouveau pattern piece. The pen is nice size, much thicker than a 404 Watetman.
