Pilot Namiki Ducks

Pilot Namiki Ducks-It is our pleasure to offer this incredible lacquer maki-e pen.
This Pilot pen hails from the makers of the legendary Dunhill Namiki brand.
It dates back to 1960’s and as you can see,  it is in mint condition.  The duck design is
one of the rarer designs in the Custom pen line up.  These pens were made in many
different designs and some are extremely rare as were dedication pieces for special
events or to honor special people.  This particular pen comes with the original box
and has no signs of use.  It was made by one of the most talented artists of his time,
Senzan Murata.  The detail is amazing and precise and the colors used make this
design one of my favorites.  The lacquer is raised, the feathers are golden in the
highlights, and the waves of the water give a very beautiful and balanced motion on
the pen.  The luster of the lacquer demonstrates that this item has been preserved in
the box for all of its life.  There is no fading, no degradation, no ultraviolet light
damage.  The nib is the correct 18kt nib that is original to this pen.
This is a Masterpiece.
