Vintage Dunhill Namiki Fountain Pen from 1920’s.   This is a special Dunhill Namiki pen which features many different techniques in its making.  The pen is a ring top lever filler but do not underestimate this pen.  I have seen many ring top pens, many designs are only available in ring top versions.  Let me put it this way, the best pen in my personal collection is a ringtop!!!  This pen is very neat, is has gorgeous maple leaves and a tree growing out of a nice cliff / rock.  The rock itself is beautifully done in ishime technique, it is very raised and has lacquer powder sprinkled  on it as well.  To enhance the effect, aogai / raden has been used, it is beautiful and popping!!!  The artist knew what he was doing in this Masterpiece, his name Tadashi.  This gorgeous Dunhill Namiki was made for Dunhill Namiki in Paris and features a hallmarked 18kt Dunhill Namiki nib.   The end of the barrel has inscribed “Made in Japan”.  The condition of this pen is ‘minty’,  extremely close to mint, the lacquer luster is superb.  Take a looks at the pictures, the waves a superbly done and convey a perfect sense of motion.  Please email any questions.  Pen is restored and is available to you.
